Data Analyst

Engineer turned data analyst, driven by a curiosity for turning complexity into clarity and data into action.

My approach

I’m fascinated by the stories hidden within data and the patterns that shape human behavior. With a background in engineering and a career in live entertainment, I bring an unconventional perspective to data analytics. My technical background comes from studying electrical engineering at Loyola Marymount University, where I completed intensive coursework and investigated wearable technology through funded research projects. Next, I built a career as a circus artist and spent five years performing with European cruise lines and luxury hotels in Las Vegas.

Engineering taught me to approach problems analytically, challenge assumptions, and let evidence guide my conclusions. My career as a circus artist taught me something different: how to communicate complex ideas through storytelling, collaborate quickly with new teams, and embrace feedback as an opportunity to improve. Together, these experiences have shaped the way I approach analytics: with technical rigor, creative curiosity, and a focus on uncovering what the data is actually telling us. I used to tell stories through live performance; now I discover the stories hidden in data and use them to help people make better decisions.
